Gregory M. Adams, FHFMA
National Chair
Mr. Adams is the voluntary Chair of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) during the 2011-12 term, beginning June 1, 2011. Mr. Adams is Senior Vice President and Partner, Panacea Healthcare Solutions, LLC, Red Bank, NJ.
A member of HFMA since 1979, Mr. Adams' involvement with the National Association includes serving as Chapter Liaison Representative (2001-02), the Board of Directors (2002-05 and 2009-11), the Executive Committee (2003-05 and 2009-11), the Audit & Finance Committee (2009-11), serving as chair during 2009-10, and the Strategic Planning Committee (2009-11), serving as chair during 2010-11. Mr. Adams has also served the New Jersey Chapter as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, President-Elect, and President. He has received the Follmer Bronze, Reeves Silver, Muncie Gold, and Medal of Honor merit awards.

Dr. Donald Ratajczak
Consulting Economist
Dr. Donald Ratajczak is a leading economic forecaster and currently is Regents Professor Emeritus of Economics at Georgia State University. He previously was Director of the Economic Forecasting Center in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University from 1973 until June 2000 as a professor of economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies until he retired in 2000. He provides advice to government and non-profit organizations and is on the board of Assurance America, Ruby Tuesday, Inc., Crown Craft Corp., and Citizens Trust Bank.
Dr. Ratajczak has developed econometric models for the United States, the Southeast, and several individual states. He currently produces weekly and monthly publications for Morgan Keegan including a weekly economic commentary and forecast and a monthly forecast of short-term national and financial conditions. His commentary on inflation continues to receive prominent attention from the national media. He also contributes articles to several publications.

David Satcher, M.D., Ph.D
U.S. Surgeon General
Dr. David Satcher is the 16th Surgeon General of the United States. Dr. Satcher would most like to be known as the Surgeon General who listens to the American people and who responds with effective programs. His mission is to make public health work for all groups in this nation. He not only is a champion of promoting healthy lifestyles, he is also an avid jogger and enjoys tennis, gardening and reading.
He served simultaneously in the positions of Surgeon General and Assistant Secretary for Health from February 1998 through January 2001. He also held the posts of Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry from 1993 to 1998.
Dr. Satcher served as professor and chairman of the Department of Community Medicine and Family Practice at Morehouse School of Medicine from 1979 to 1982. He is a former faculty member of the UCLA School of Medicine and Public Health and the Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he developed and chaired the King/Drew Department of Family Medicine. From 1977 to 1979, he served as the Interim Dean of the Charles R. Drew Postgraduate Medical School, during which time he negotiated the agreement with the UCLA School of Medicine and the Board of Regents that led to a medical education program at King/Drew. He also directed the King/Drew Sickle Cell Research Center for six years.
